In 2019, Sawtell Catholic Care and Dance for Parkisnsons NSW partnered with Julie Ross Dance Studios to run a trial of Movement and Music, an offshoot of the Dance for Parkinsons model that opened this exciting, vibrant and fun wellbeing program to all older people, not just those with Parkinsons Disease.
The trial was so successful that it will be running again through 2020, commencing on Tuesday 4 February at 9am in the Mater Christi Community Room. Residents have expressed how much they enjoy the sessions, so we would like to offer Marian Grove residents and interested family and friends the opportunity to come along and join the fun! Sessions are free for residents, but a gold coin donation to assist with funding would be appreciated from non- residents where possible.
