On May 24 the feast of Our Lady of the Way was celebrated with Mass in the Chapel followed by a hearty morning tea. Cakes and slices from the kitchen were supplemented by resident donations.
A BBQ lunch was shared under the sails, ably cooked by Ali and Sandy
During the day a cupcake was given to every person attending and each staff member. These were baked by Kath Derret and her daughter Naomi.
A day of feasting brought to mind our need to care gently for each other, as our patron Mary did for her Son Jesus.
