Sawtell Catholic Care of the Aged is a dynamic, innovative aged care organisation offering quality, inspirational living experiences to its resident community.

What is it that makes us so special?

  • Is it the beautiful grounds enclosing Marian Grove, our independent living village and Mater Christi, our residential care facility?
  • Is it ‘The Grove’ Cafe or Our Lady of The Way Chapel?
  • Is it the fun and friendship that our residents enjoy?
  • Is it the 24 hour nursing care?
  • Is it the great team who make every resident feel like part of a family?

It’s the sum of all these parts plus a little something extra.

We can tell you what it is in two words – the ones that appear on our logo “We Care.”

These are much more than just words to us- they’re a living, breathing, daily affirmation of our mission and vision.

We care about our residents, their quality of life, their dignity, their independence, their individual journey….and that makes all the difference.

We believe that life is a journey. On your journey, we care.

Our Vision

The vision of Sawtell Catholic Care of the Aged is to offer excellent care to the Aged in a nurturing environment where the dignity of the residents, carers and families is recognised and affirmed.

This vision is inspired by the life of Jesus, the patience, love and strength of Mary and the trust and support of the Sawtell Parish.

Our Mission

Sawtell Catholic Care of the Aged is a ministry of Mary Help of Christians Parish.  It is an expression of the desire of our community of faith to provide care in a welcoming, dignified and respectful manner within the context of the Catholic tradition.

Our mission is to provide physical, emotional, spiritual and pastoral care for all in the aged community.  We value the commitment and skills of our staff and volunteers in providing a centre of excellence for that care.
